Classroom Volunteer

Volunteer Requirements and Procedures

District Requirements for Volunteers

In accordance with California Health and Safety Code, all volunteers are required to:

  • Complete fingerprinting through the district’s approved process; and

  • Sign the Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Reporting Forms prior to beginning any volunteer service.


Classroom Volunteer Requirements

Parents or guardians who wish to volunteer in classrooms and will have direct interaction with students must meet the following health and safety requirements:

Required Immunizations (per SB 792):

  • Influenza

  • Pertussis

  • Measles

Additional Requirement:

  • Tuberculosis (TB) Clearance
